Responsible play
Last updated 15 October 2026
Velvet Aces is for entertainment. It uses play chips only, but casino games can still be habit-forming, and some people go on to gamble with real money.
If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential help is available in Australia 24/7: Gambling Help Online, 1800 858 858, gamblinghelponline.org.au.
Keep it fun
- Set a time limit before you start and take regular breaks.
- Play for the enjoyment, not to chase a feeling or escape a problem.
- Remember that winning here says nothing about what will happen with real money. Real casino games have a house edge and the odds favour the house over time.
Warning signs
- Spending more time or money than you planned
- Chasing losses or hiding your gambling
- Gambling to cope with stress, loneliness or low mood
- Arguments, money worries or neglecting work and family
Where to get help

Adults only
Velvet Aces is for people 18 and over. Parents can use filtering software to keep it away from children.
